OUR STORY...

Redback started life in Newcastle as a software development firm, specialising in custom programming and application solutions.

Like many internet companies back then, the business name was chosen in reference to this new thing called the world wide “web”.

Y’know, web… spider web… redback spider → Redback Solutions.

Ok, so our name might not be the trendiest around these days, but we’re kinda proud of our roots!

Anyway, at the turn of the century we started specialising in web design, development and hosting.

The business changed hands twice on our way to delivering over 2,300 websites and digital projects for our broad client base.

In 2018, we acquired an SEO & digital marketing agency to become the well-rounded digital team our clients need today with people in our Newcastle HQ, as well as Sydney, the Central Coast, Queensland, and even London.
